BROOKSPEED RETURN FOR TOYO TIRES PORSCHE CAMPAIGN

The Silverstone GP circuit – home once again to the British Grand Prix later this year – played host yesterday to the launch event for the 2015 season of our Toyo Tires Porsche Championship 2015.

Two Class A Boxsters were present at what was a Gold Track track day event. One car, owned by the championship’s tyre man Tony Mekwinski, will be run on an arrive-and-drive basis by Brookspeed who return to the burgeoning championship after a three year absence.

The other Boxster that was on-show belongs to championship newbie James Coleman whose Taylor’s Foundry-built 986 S will propel James, one of several new drivers this season, into a rookie season in Class A.

Also present was Jamie Callendar, sadly without his new self-built 924 which isn't quite ready for its first run. Jamie is aiming to have the car ready for the season opener which is a double-header at Oulton Park on Saturday18th April.
