The BRSCC will once again be taking a step back in time in a couple of weeks, as we will be attending the ever popular Race Retro exhibition on February 26-28.

Dubbed as Europe’s premier winter show for historic motorsport, Race Retro gives fans with a love of racing from the good old days across the decades a chance to wind the clock back and see some of their favourite race and rally cars on display. This is further enhanced by a live outdoor rally stage, showcasing some of the best that rallying had to offer over the years, including Group B cars, Ford Escorts, Lancias, Triumphs, Opels and more – there’s even some historic karting!

This year’s show also features 1996 Formula One World Champion Damon Hill as their star guest – someone who was also the recipient of our coveted John Nicol Trophy several years back.

As we have done in previous years, the BRSCC will be displaying two cars from our ever popular Dunlop TVR Challenge – Alex Champkin’s championship winning 4.0ltr V8 Chimaera and an example of one of the fearfully awesome and brutal Tuscan Challenge race cars from Ivor Watson. Drivers and co-ordinators will be on the stand throughout the three days, so if you are looking to attend then be sure to say hello and have a chat. With TVR on the comeback trail, this could potentially be the start of a renaissance for the former Blackpool marque, so this championship could be one to watch in 2016.

If you want to know more about what’s on and where to go for Race Retro 2016, then be sure to head to the website – www.raceretro.com – for more information and to buy tickets. See you there!
