BRSCC NORTHERN CENTRE THANK THEIR MARSHALS
BRSCC Northern Centre Chairman, Graham S. Whitaker, presents Joyce Swan with the Marshal of the Year Trophy.
The BRSCC Northern Centre enjoyed their annual marshals' ‘thank you’ barbecue at Cadwell Park over the Jubilee Holiday long weekend, which of course coincided with the two-day BRSCC meeting.
More than 70 marshals, officials and their friends enjoyed the barbecue, making it the best-supported event since it started. Thanks are due to Northern Centre Secretary, Jo Coote, for organising the event, aided and abetted by Maureen Barnes.
The Cadwell Park circuit manager, Jon Rush, was on-hand to present the free raffle prizes to the winners, and Jon also kindly supplied complimentary drinks for the marshals, courtesy of MSV.
The evening was also an opportunity for Joyce Swan to finally get her hands on her much deserved ‘Northern Centre Marshal of the Year’ trophy. Joyce was away on holiday in Australia when the ‘Nigel Mansell Trophy’ was originally presented at the Northern Centre Dinner, back in March.
