BRSCC PULLS A CROWD AT TOP GEAR LIVE

Chris Slade's Mighty Mini gained many admirers at Top Gear Live.

The BRSCC stand at Top Gear Live NEC was a hive of activity over the three days of the show. More than 40,000 visitors attended the exhibition, which ran from Friday to Sunday.

All three cars on the Club’s stand – a Caterham Academy car, a Formula Jedi and a Mighty Mini – attracted a lot of attention, as they were probably the only ‘genuine’ racing cars on display in the main hall.

Thousands of show visitors snapped away at the cars and many took the opportunity to slip into the drivers’ seat of Glenn Freeman’s Caterham and the championship winning Mighty Mini of Chris Slade. Chris was also on-hand to answer many queries about what it is like to race a Mini. The BRSCC’s DVD guide on 'How to get started in motorsport' proved to be very popular and was given away in record numbers!

Next up is Top Gear Live in London, which takes place at ExCel in the Docklands between Thursday 24th and Sunday 27th November. The BRSCC will again have a stand with cars representing the Fun Cup Championship & the Saker Series.
