British Racing & Sports Car Club

The BMW Compact Cup Championship is arguably the biggest success story in UK club racing in recent years. With full grids, low cost base and performance equality, the Compact Cup is a fantastic way to enjoy close racing and real value for money.

Race cars are based on the E36 BMW 318ti Compact model and donor cars are available from as little as £300. Complete build costs have been proven to be as little as £5000. Power output from the 1900cc 4 cylinder engine is around 155bhp which gives the cars a level of performance that surprises most who get involved. Tightly controlled regulations ensure that performance equality is maintained throughout the field, with the driver being the main difference between finishing on the podium or not.

The Compact Cup is one of the UK’s most exciting one make Championships and offers an ideal battleground whether you are a young driver getting involved in saloon car racing for the first time, a seasoned pro looking to reduce your spending….or for anyone looking to hone their skills before moving up to something more powerful.

The BMW Race Days management team ensure that the support enjoyed by competitors is of the highest degree. The championship enjoys an active race community and forum, dedicated website as well as top class TV coverage.
