BRSCC FIESTA JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP
Now entering it’s third season, the BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship is set to expand further in 2014 with more young drivers viewing it as a proven platform for the discerning 14 – 17 year old who wants to forge a career in motorsport.
Using the Fiesta ST race car, the championship has really proved to be a cost effective way into circuit racing, giving young drivers the opportunity to learn their race craft around the UK's best circuits. The relatively modest costs for a season of racing compare very favourably with the other options open to drivers in the 14-17 age group.
The Fiesta ST is exactly the same car that competes in Class C of the senior BRSCC Fiesta championship and is probably one of the best saloons for junior racers. The eight event and 16 race season is a real test for the competitor while also giving them great experience of competitive circuit racing. Several junior drivers graduated to the senior Fiesta championship towards the end of the season, while Scottish teenager Aiden Moffatt became the youngest debutant in BTCC last August.
