2012 REGULATIONS

BULLETIN 1

Buoyed by the success of the Mk1 championship over the last few years, Ma5da Racing launched the MX5 Cup in 2010, which was exclusively for the Mk3. The series of Cup races were very well supported and consequently the 2011 season has seen the Mk3’s run as a separate MSA sanctioned championship with a full 20 race calendar over 9 meetings. This makes both the Mk1 and Mk3 championships great value and a cost effective way of going circuit racing.

To give drivers added value there is a full package of TV coverage in place and full driver hospitality in the paddock. If that wasn’t enough, the season concluded with a separate Autumn Championship and the Ma5da 12-hr Winter Enduro in November at Snetterton, which is a uniquely formulated ‘Ma5da only’ relay endurance race and was won by the Paul Sherad Autos team.
