News FESTIVAL TV PACKAGE CONFIRMED

The BRSCC has agreed a TV package that will greatly increase the exposure of the Formula Ford Festival which takes place at Brands Hatch on Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th October 2009. "The main attraction of Pit Lane’s proposal is that the Duratecs, Zetecs and Kents will get equal airtime and coverage of the action on both Saturday & Sunday. A one hour highlights package of the Duratecs/Zetecs will be broadcast on Sky Sports while the Kent competition will be aired on Motors TV," explained James Beckett. Pit Lane Productions’ Andrew Marriott said: “The Festival is a truly international event and with increased interest in the US following the success last year of Josef Newgarden we will also provide a news feed for the Speed Channel in the States for their Speed Report programme. To further increase the Festival’s exposure we will also be offering footage to the countries that have strong driver representation”. Professional presenters Alex Jensen and Ben Constanduros will host the shows with commentary from David Addison. Broadcast dates for both programmes will be confirmed as soon as possible.
