Ulsterman Jonny McMullan, the newly crowned 2014 Motorsport Ireland Young Racing Driver of the Year, has a busy 2015 season ahead of him on both sides of the Irish Sea.

With support from Motorsport Ireland, the Irish Sports Council and Dunlop, McMullan will be driving a Bernard Dolan prepared Formula Ford in the 2015 All Ireland Formula Ford 1600 Championship and the BRSCC National Formula Ford Championship. Jonny is also planning to contest the traditional Formula Ford ‘trophy’ races including the Martin Donnelly Trophy, the Walter Hayes Trophy and of course the BRSCC Formula Ford Festival, in which he finished runner-up to James Raven at Brands Hatch last October.

It will be all go for McMullan when his season kicks off on the 28th March at Kirkistown for the first round of the All Ireland Championship and then Silverstone International the weekend after for the first round of the BRSCC Championship.

Commenting on the news, Jonny said, "It's absolutely great to have our plans firmly set for the 2015 season and it's going to be a busy one but I am more than ready to get going. I'm really looking forward to starting testing and working with Bernard and Mick Merrigan. The national championships have some great tracks and I think it will set me up perfectly going into the important trophy races for the Formula Ford Festival and Walter Hayes Trophy".
