MIGHTY MINIS SET FOR TIME ATTACK

CATEGORIES:

Mighty Minis will be racing at their second Time Attack meeting of the season.

The Mighty Minis are to venture north this weekend to entertain at the fantastically testing Cadwell Park circuit. Race goers will be treated to a double delight with being able to witness not only the Super Mighty Minis and the Mighty Minis, but will also bear witness to the spectacle of Time attack and the amazing antics of the drifting fraternity.

Peter Tervet, race winner in the Mighty Minis from the last round at Brands Hatch, will start the race as the new championship leader with the hard challenging lady driver Louise Inch hot on his heals. Regular podium finisher Mark Burnett is keen to upset the championship party and has his eyes set on a race win at the twisty northern circuit.

It seems hard to believe when watching these cars being driven on the absolute limit that most, if not all, of these drivers were complete novices only a few races ago, proving that Mighty Minis is a brilliant way to hone your racing skills.

Super Mighty Minis has always been respected as the more tuned and faster of the two categories, and in the hands of these experienced drivers they certainly entertain the crowds with extremely close racing and hard fought battles.

Elliott Stafford has a slender five point lead over the hard charging Pat Ford, who tends to do quite well at Cadwell. Gary Patterson who missed the first race of the season is in third with an uphill struggle if he is to improve his position this season. But as ever with both categories in this championship the title race normally goes down to the wire and we are sure this year will be no exception. It is never over until it is over!!!
