PETER MORLEY CBE 1929 -2013

The BRSCC were saddened to learn that former Director, Peter Morley CBE, passed away on Saturday aged 84, at the Princess Royal University Hospital in Bromley.
Peter served on the Board of the BRSCC in the eighties and nineties, and was also one of the original Trustees of the Motorsport Safety Fund. Peter’s wealth of business acumen and experience was of great benefit to the Club and the Fund during his period of service.
Away from his involvement in motorsport, Peter’s business career including being the Personnel Director of Tesco and in 1994, he was awarded his CBE for services to vocational training.
Peter’s other great sporting love was Crystal Palace FC, where he served as Chairman in the late nineties and more recently as a Vice-President.
The BRSCC would like to extend their sympathies to Peter’s wife Paula and daughters Fran and Alex.
