SEYFRIED HAS FUN IN THE SUN

Current Super Mighty Mini Champion Ben Seyfried, was a surprise entrant in the opening round of the Fun Cup last Saturday. Ben, from Somerset joined team mate Jason Simon from Jersey, at the Snetterton opener in the Solution Racing prepared, Gaz Shocks backed car.
Last season Ben was the driver coach for the 190 team, which Jason was part of. Ben was pleased to accept Jason’s invitation to take part in the 4hour endurance race, particularly as it posed a new challenge to him. ”It was really good to get behind the wheel of a Fun Cup car but I was amazed at how physical they are to drive – it’s exhausting!! The race itself was great fun with some very close racing. Considering I had never driven the car before I think it’s a fantastic result for Jason, Solutions Racing and I, to finish a very respectable 5th in the petrol class. I hope I get invited to drive the car again, I would certainly jump at the chance.” |
