THANKS LMA AS EURO SALOONS LOOK TO THE FUTURE

After sponsoring and supporting the Euro Saloons & Sports Car Championship in its various formats for ten years LMA is standing down as the title sponsor.
LMA MD Stuart Cumming said “We have had a great 10 years sponsoring the championship and have enjoyed many highs including building the Euro Saloons up to the point where there were full grids for every race. It was always our plan to put a 10 year timescale on our involvement but we are sure the ‘catch all’ format of the championship means it will continue to thrive. We have made many good friends over the years, seen lots of great racing and we will continue to keep in touch”. Tony Soper, who is a competitor and MD of Italian Intermarque Racing, who first introduced LMA to the championship, added “Stuart and his team at LMA have put a great deal of effort into the Euro Saloons and we thank them for their support. The good news is that I have been approached by several potential sponsors who are interested in picking up the reins. Furthermore, Sara Pryce will continue the excellent work she has done as championship co-ordinator so it is very much ‘business as usual’ as we prepare for the new season”. Working with the BRSCC, the championship will very much continue in 2010 and a provisional calendar for next season is almost complete.
