BRSCC DISPLAYS VARIETY AT AUTOSPORT INTERNATIONAL 2018

The BRSCC is excited to be exhibiting at the annual Autosport International: The Racing Car Show this week from January 11-14 2018, with its largest stand in recent years and the most prominent and diverse mixture of championship, disciplines and vehicles on display.

Headlining the stand is the highly-anticipated TCR UK Championship, which makes its debut in Britain this season with the opening rounds at Silverstone on the National circuit. Interest continues to be high, especially so after the championship announced its suspension and tyre partners in Ohlins and Yokohama respectively. A TV deal is also understood to be continuously worked on, but live online streaming of every round will at least feature across the year. Motorbase's stunning Volkswagen Golf TCR touring car takes pride of place at the centre of the stand in its striking white, red and black livery.

In addition, many of the BRSCC's most popular and interesting championships and series are also represented on the stand two, with the two support acts to TCR UK also lining up alongside with the Mazda MX-5 SuperCup and Avon Tyres National Formula Ford 1600 Championship providing the perfect round-off to the affectionately dubbed "TCR UK Trio". All three are set to wow and entertain spectators at each of the 7 race meetings the three series will attend together as a collective.

The sister series to the MX-5 SuperCup is also here too with the staggeringly popular Mazda MX-5 Championship for Mk1 models looking to build on a phenomenal 2017 season which saw just over 100 drivers register. Other championships also with a promising year ahead include the Speed Group F1000 Championship, Toyo Tires Porsche Championship, Alfa Romeo Championship and Teekay Couplings Production GTi, all already seeing positive growth and set to feature increased grid numbers as an influx of new and returning drivers bid to compete together on track.

It will also be an exciting season for the OSS Championship who recently confirmed their exciting new title sponsor in Speed Group, especially as the series celebrates its 10th anniversary. The Nankang Tyres BMW Compact Cup will be determined to maintain its popularity and cadence from the last two seasons with the Club, while Caterham Motorsport looks set to have one of its biggest roster of drivers across 6 championships, with grids allegedly said to be full to bursting ahead of another year of high-speed action.

If you happen to be heading to the NEC in Birmingham this week, be sure to stop by Stand 7050 in Hall 7, see the stand for yourself, have a chat with us and come say hello!
