* LEA WOOD TAKES VSR CROWN

The final BRSCC championship of the season was decided at Brands Hatch during last weekend’s Britcar meeting. Last year’s runner-up became this year’s champion; 23 year old vehicle technician Lea Wood from Hereford clinched the title with a first and second place finish in the last two races of the season. Lea hasn’t had a trouble free year in the 2 litre Vauxhall Tigra VXR backed by Bill Jackson International, but the races that he has won from the back of the reverse start grids have been spectacular!  Hopefully, Lea is going to be defending his title in 2008 with arch rival and championship runner up Steve Hall, and his twin brother Greg who finished up sixth overall this year.
