* BRSCC FORMULA FORD FESTIVAL TIMETABLE RELEASED
The provisional timetable for the 2006 Formula Ford Festival has
been released and can be viewed at www.brscc.co.uk/calendar/
timetables/bh20oct.pdf This will be the 35th Festival in the
prestigious events history and will take place at Brands Hatch on

* RETURN TO ACTION THIS WEEKEND
After a rare weekend of inactivity the BRSCC action returns on
Saturday when the North Western Centre will run their penultimate
meeting of the season at Oulton Park. There is a great mixture of
single seater and saloon racing including Club Formula Ford NW,
Enterprise Group Club F3, LMA Saloons, Alfashop Alfa Romeo, Ford
XRs and Mill Street Motors Ford Saloons & Fiestas. Every point is
vital as the season reaches its climax. The full timetable can be

Meanwhile, the Midland Centre will be busy organising the SRO F3/GT
package at Silverstone. Again it is the penultimate meeting of the
season so expect some fireworks as matters come to a head.
* DRIVERS WANTED
Tony Weatherley from the East Anglian Centre is developing an idea
for flag marshal training at the CentreE28099s next training day
(provisionally scheduled for January 28th 2007) and would like some

* 24 HOURS FROM TOWCESTER
The Britcar 24 Hours race lived up to expectations again at
Silverstone the weekend before last. Congratulations to James
Tucker and his team for making it happen and many thanks to all our
Midland Centre officials & marshals for the effort they put in over
the three day meeting. For the record, the Duller BMW MZ4 was first
across the line at the 24th hour and was piloted by Tim Mullen,
Dirk Werner, Dieter Quester and Jamie Campbell-Walter. The full

* MOTORSPORT SAFETY FUND CHRISTMAS CARD
The Ford Escort was without doubt one of the greatest rally cars of
all time and no other model`s CV boasts eight consecutive wins on
the RAC Rally. Memories of these are certain to be rekindled by the
Motorsport Safety Fund`s 2006 Charity Christmas card, which
features an oil painting of Hannu Mikkola and Arne Hertz en route
to victory in the 1979 rally E28093 the last achieved on this event
by the all-conquering Escort. The card shows the car in typical pose E28093
on opposite lock on a forest stage. It was painted by impressionist-
style artist Matt Bruce RI.
The cards are priced at C2A36.50 for 10, including envelopes,

* DINNER DANCE & AWARDS PRESENTATIONS
As the season draws to a close, invitations will soon be going out
to the respective Championship winners for the Dinner Dance and
Annual Awards Presentations. This will take place on Saturday 18th

* BACK TO BACK TITLES FOR MOORE
Bath based Ed Moore clinched the BRSCC Club Formula Ford 1600 (MS)
Championship with a second place finish at Mallory Park on 20th
August. Coming on the back of his 2005 triumphs in the MSV FF1600
Championship and BRSCC National King of KentE28099s Cup it has been
a successful couple of years for the Motorsport Events backed driver,
who also won the inaugural Edwina Overend Trophy in July.
