* EAST ANGLIAN CENTRE REVIVES HISTORIC TROPHIES
The East Anglian Centre are running their second Snetterton meeting
of the season on the 24th June and have decided to use some of
their historic trophies for some specific races this season. The
Dunlop Tuscan Challenge race will be for the Archie Scott Brown
Trophy which was originally donated by relatives of the great
driver and was first presented in 1986. It has been used in the
past for sportscar races including Porsches and TVR Tuscans.
The first of the BRSCC Formula Jedi Championship races will be for
the Henry Rilett Trophy, which was donated by Henry himself when he
was the Centre Chief Scrutineer. Henry was a great admirer of
Formula Ford in the early days and particularly wanted to reward
competitors who could not afford to compete in the major National
Championships. With the agreement of HenryE28099s family, the East
Anglian Centre has decided to present it for the Formula Jedi race
as they felt this championship comes closest to his original concept
* EDWINA OVEREND TROPHY

* FIERCE1.COM

* PRP TO THE RESCUE
Now that the summer is finally here and the motorways seem to be
continually congested have you stopped to think what will happen if
you broke down en route to the meeting? In January, PRP Rescue,
founders of Specialist Rescue Services with over 20 years
experience in the sporting world, launched an entirely new
motorsport race team breakdown service.
Aimed at everyone who takes part in motorsport, PRP Rescue provides
a membership scheme within the UK and Europe with a comprehensive
breakdown service including tyres to suit every combination of
equipment. 46rom cars, trailers, large transporters with trailers
and mobile homes, PRP Rescue have the answer to all your breakdown
and recovery problems. A competitor can be reassured of a network
of support ready to assist with any breakdown that may occur when
participating at a motorsport event. Your time and entry fee would
be wasted and you could also miss out on some vital championships
points and finally end up with a very costly garage call out. PRP
Rescue will put an end to that worry with an assistance programme
built around the needs of a competitor.
Just one free phone call to the control centre will produce the
fastest possible emergency response to your vehicles. A single low-
cost annual membership fee guarantees:
Unlimited FREE roadside assistance.
Unlimited Free recovery of competitor, the vehicle and equipment to
any destination if repair is not possible.
Dedicated FREE tyre call-outs (you only pay for any tyres fitted at
a later date). European cover (subject to separate application).

* STOLEN TRAILER
North West Formula Ford competitor Geoff Williams had his trailer
stolen from his Carnforth home in Lancashire on the night of
8th-9th June. Obviously Geoff is very keen to retrieve the trailer
so if you happen to see it in and around the North West area please
contact Geoff. The trailer is a Brian James Transporter. It has a
front mechanical winch and a spare wheel attached to the side,
which is a barum tyre. The trailer is covered with a steel frame
and attached flat aluminium sheets with big headed pop rivets. It
has a drop down tail-gate which is covered with an aluminium
checker plate. The trailer is silver and stands out like a sore
thumb so if you do see it please contact Geoff at
