* SECONDS OUT FOR VICKI SQUIRRELL

After six years with the BRSCC and a total of eleven years in motorsport Vicki Squirrell is leaving the sport in early February for a new career in the boxing promotions world. Vicki has worked for the BRSCC as Assistant Competition Manager firstly to John Ward

and latterly to Bob Armstrong before taking on the role herself after Bob's departure last September. We would like to thank Vicki for her years of service to the Club and wish her all the very best

for the future. An announcement regarding a replacement will be made shortly

* AUTOSPORT SHOW

The Club enjoyed an encouraging four days at the Autosport Show last week. It was good to see so many BRSCC members in attendance and there was a lot of interest shown in our championships not only

on the Club stand but throughout the halls where many BRSCC Championships were represented. On the Friday of the show we held a successful lunch & seminar for the championship co-ordinators where MD Iain Brown outlined his plans for the 2007 season and beyond, which include the launch of an online entry system and new website in March. A full report on the Autosport Show will appear in the February edition of BRSCC Racing News.

* CHAMPIONSHIPS & RACE MEETING SCHEDULE NOW AVAILABLE

The full BRSCC meeting schedule and dates for each championship were made public at the Autosport Show. These have all been issued to the respective co-ordinators but are also available via our website. * MARSHALS TRAINING DATES

The BRSCC Centres have confirmed the following training dates for marshals;

The Northern Centre training day for all disciplines is on 27th January at Cadwell Park. The East Anglian Centre training day for all disciplines is on 28th January at Snetterton. There will also be a session for experienced Observers atIpswich on 17th February. The South Eastern Centre has a training weekend on 24/25th February at Brands Hatch. The Saturday is for incident officers & flag marshals while on Sunday the session is for course, fire, trainee & specialist marshals. Long term motorsport photographer Barry Ambrose has set up his own website, www.fierce1.com from which you can order prints directly. Barry is a regular at BRSCC meetings and many of his images are used in raceday programmes, BRSCC Racing News, our new membership leaflet & the weekly motorsport magazines.

* BRSCC NORTHERN CENTRE DINNER
