The BRSCC Fiesta Championship racing with MRF Tyres is a one make championship for classes of production Ford Fiestas, a car that has consistently been seen as the one of the UK’s favourite and best-selling new cars. The origins of this Championship stretch as far back as 1979 and during that time, racing stars such as Matt Neal, Gordon Shedden, Ashley Sutton, Glynn Geddie and more have all taken to the wheel of a Ford Fiesta on the path to motorsport stardom. Starting from 2018, you could join them on that same path, too – imagine that!

The cars are regulated to conform to a showroom specification, but with some options and additions to make the cars safe, reliable and quicker. The Fiesta Championship has consistently provided huge grids and has required the classes to be spilt at some race meetings in order to accommodate the high entries. Drivers that feature in the Championship range from young, up-and-coming racers looking to forge a career in the sport to more experienced hands seeking a new challenge. The Ford Fiesta is also an ideal starting point for any novice driver, with a car that’s both satisfying to take to the limit, yet forgivable and very driveable once you reach it.

The racing is run over an eight weekend race season that takes in many of the UK’s finest circuits, many of which are utilised by top series such as the BTCC, British GT and many more. All but two weekends are triple-headers, meaning that all drivers can mostly enjoy 3 races per meeting.
