 | | A marshal is the most important person at a race meeting! Quite simply without the men & women who volunteer to freely give their time to marshal at events motor racing meetings could not take place. Marshalling is for anybody who is interested in and wants to be involved in motorsport. You don’t need any special skills or qualifications, just common sense and a reasonable sense of self-preservation. |

| | | Marshalling The BRSCC has its own marshalling service upon which it relies heavily in order to complete its annual quota of race meetings throughout the year. BRSCC marshals not only enjoy the benefits given to all Club Members but are also eligible for a discount scheme on the Club Membership fee. In recognition of the work done by our marshalling force, marshals receive a £1.00 voucher for each day they attend a BRSCC organized race meeting. The maximum value which can be redeemed against the membership in any one year is 50% of the membership fee. To co-ordinate its marshalling force we have a Chief Marshal for each of our six Centres. Should you require any further information on marshalling please don’t hesitate to contact them

FLAG SIGNALSMarshals use many different flags to alert drivers of different incidents during races. Marshals and race drivers alike must learn exactly what each flag looks like and means. This is to ensure the safety of all concerned. Below are the meanings of flags used in marshalling races at BRSCC events.
