The ultimate evolution of the Academy car and Caterham most popular formula (outside of Academy), Seven 310R gives drivers that started in the Academy series an incredible fourth year of progression!

Similar in specification to the Seven 270R, with no windscreen or headlights, plus it’s more track focused suspension; the Seven 310R goes a stage further with engine modification to increase power to 152bhp and the addition of a limited slip differential to get that power down onto the tarmac. In its road form, the Seven 310R has been widely praised as the best balance of power and grip a Caterham has ever had.

As with Seven 270R professional team support is allowed, providing drivers with the arrive’n’drive convenience they require to enable them to keep racing. Alternatively, many drivers continue to take up the low-cost central support option offered by Caterham to help get them out of trouble should the time come!  Drivers in the Seven 310R championship are a mix of those coming up through the ladder and other experienced racers coming in from outside.

Seven 310R forms the fourth step of the super-successful Caterham ladder of motorsport.  Beyond Seven 310R is the fearsome Seven 420R; a dedicated race machine whose pace cannot be matched without slicks or wings in anything other than a single-seater.

Caterham is an iconic marquee. For more than half a century this lightweight sportscar has been the benchmark for performance and handling and is sold in over 20 countries worldwide. With great support from Caterham Cars and the championship coordinators, drivers in the Roadsport Championship have an unrivalled opportunity to progress their careers in motorsport.

Sharing its calendar with the Roadsport and Seven 270R championships, plus the mighty Seven 420R at most rounds, this year’s Seven 310R calendar features many highlights including a June overseas trip to Zandvoort in Holland.
